When you initially join Windermere, depending on your level of experience, we will pay for you to attend our corporate level courses.

Windermere Orientation  - Half-day introduction to everything Windermere has to offer company-wide.

Prostart - Four days that will give you the nuts and bolts of the business from legal obligations, writing offers and negotiation.

Ninja Selling - Four day intensive to build your business, develop successful systems for every aspect and start swimming in referrals.

Once our new agents have completed the national courses we provide weekly training for the first 2 years to help apply the initial training to their new business. This includes but is not limited to writing contracts, understanding forms, and legal obligations, negotiation skills, business planning, marketing strategies, lead generation, and conversion, etc.

Established agents, as well as new agents, enjoy our every other week Thursday training with speakers from a range of topics that ensure we are the most knowledgeable brokers on Whidbey Island. Topics include…

• Septic regulations in Island County and types of systems
• Well issues specific to Whidbey
• Mortgage processes and trends
• Critical Areas understanding
• Shoreline processes and issues

Our every other week sales meetings are great places to reflect together on what the market is doing, brainstorm with other brokers on how to deal with current issues, poll the collective brain power of the office for problem-solving and/or perspective.

Our full-time Branch Manager, Kristen Stavros, will help you develop or tweak your business and marketing plan to reflect your unique skills, interests, and abilities for maximum effect. If you need an accountability partner she will play this role or help create an accountability process that works for you!
